形態特徵
- An annual herb; stems decumbent, 6-25 cm high, usually branched, darkish green when dry.
- Leaves membranaceous, oblong-lanceolate, the apex acute, oblique at base, 4-8 cm long, 2-3 cm wide, the margins coarsely serrate in upper half, slightly pubescent on nerves beneath.
- Male flowers in capitulum; capitulum sessile or very short-peduncled; bracts broadly ovate; perianth 4- or 5-lobed; stamens 4 or 5, opposite perianth-lobes. Female capitulum same shape as that of male one, minute; bracts densely short hirsute; perianth 3- or 5-lobed, persistent; style penicillate.
- Achenes minute, elliptic.

- 台灣 : common in wet places throughout the island at low altitudes.
- 世界 : in Japan, China, Malaysia and the Pacific islands.
